Campbell Technical, Inc. repairs and refurbishes most tape drive read/write heads and head assemblies. This includes SDLT220, SDLT320 and SDLT600 heads. We also offer exchange on tape drive read/write heads and head assemblies. Most read/write heads and head assembly repair orders are advanced exchanges. Therefore, clients send us their defective heads and head assemblies and they are exchange for new and/or refurbished tape drive read/write heads

Our tape drive read/write head assembly repair turn around is roughly 3-5 business days, but can exceed 5 business days depending on the quantity of read/write heads that need refurbishment
Tape Drive Read/Write Head Assembly Repair YIELD
Our repair yield is 80% depending on condition of the heads being sent in. We do not offer repair or exchange services on cracked, chipped, ripped flex circuit heads, or head bases that do not actuate.
